dc.description.abstract | Behavior hygiene of the reproductive organs during menstruation is a component of
individual hygiene, who played an important rote in determining health status,
particularly to avoid infection of the reproductive organs. Based on data from
department of health Situbondo in the 2012 year found 1 child range the ages of 10 to
14 years (2,02%) of the 202 cases pertained to non disease Gonorrhea. The purpose
of this research was to known the factors that with behavior personal hygiene of
reproductive organs of elementary school student during menstruation in district
Kapongan, Situbondo. The research was an observational analytic research with
cross sectional design. The sample was 64 respondents chosen by Proportional
Random Sampling technique. Statistical test that used for data analysis were Chisquare
test with a level 5%. Test result showed that there is a significantly
association between menstrual disorders (p=0,001), knowledge (p=0,002), attitude
(p=0,000), the role of parents (p=0,045), and role of teacher (p=0,043). There was
no significantly association between age, long menstruation, menarche, role of
media, and role of peer group. Based on this research, students to add their
knowledge about how to maintain cleanliness reproductive organs during
menstruation by reading books and ask directly to teachers and parents so obtained
information that is appropriate for students. | en_US |
