dc.description.abstract | Analysis of food vulnerability based on village is very important to sharpen the result because every village has different character. This study was aimed to analyze food vulnerability problem in Jatiroto sub district based on village. This descriptive study designed using secondary data of three aspects of Food Security and Vulnerability Atlas (FSVA) such as aspect of food availability, aspect of food access and livelihood, and aspect of food utility by Badan Ketahanan Pangan (BKP) in 2012. The data processing began by calculating the three aspects of FSVA which consists of seven indicators namely number of food retailer, percentage of poor family, good road access, percentage of households without access to electricity, number of underweight, number of children and mother mortality, and number of health facilities. Jatiroto sub district consisting of 6 villages and the result of the analysis showed that mostly village in Jatiroto (4 villages) were in secure food situation, 1 village were in wary food situation and 1 village were in food vulnerability situation. The indicator that mostly contribute to food vulnerability in Jatiroto is number of underweight, percentage of households without access to electricity and percentage of poor family. The food vulnerability situation were showed to maps named FSVA that could be recommendation for some institutions to complete programs related to the issue of food vulnerability. | en_US |
