dc.description.abstractThe using of internet has positive and negative consequencies to employee and the organization. One of the negative consequencies is cyberloafing behavior. Cyberloafing refers to employee’s behavior of using their work internet access during work hours for non-work-related purposes. This behavior maybe caused by work stress and employee’s perception about organizational sanction. The aims of this research were to examine the impact of work stressors (role ambiguity, role conflict, role overload) and perception of organizational sanction to cyberloafing behavior by using analytical survey method. Sample of this research were 80 administrative government’s employee of 14 faculties and 2 study programs in Jember University. The result indicated that role conflict, role overload, and perception of organizational sanction had significant impact to cyberloafing behavior, while role ambiguity didn’t. Reducing role stressors, giving organizational sanction, and limiting internet access can be done to reduce this behavior.en_US
