Water quality is determined by the plankton as an indicator of animal biology. This research aims to analyze the plankton as bioindikator water pollution in the river basin Bondoyudo around Semboro Sugar Factory . This research employed analytic method and using the technique of sampling was probability sampling. The results showed the source polluters come from domestic waste in the form of solid waste and liquid waste from discarded bathroom, kitchen and bathroom activities, toilet in the river. Industrial waste near a waste of machine service and Semboro Sugar Factory. The plankton found pra production were 38 genus (dominan volvox sp) While in production were 22 genus (dominan gonatozygon sp.). Results of the research demonstrated that the quality of the water of the Bondoyudo River around Semboro Sugar Factory was based on the diversity index pra production, classified as moderately polluted (with H’=1,6821). When further observed using the diversity index production, it was found that the same water was classified as heavily polluted (H’=0,8296). Results test statistics imply any differences pollution in pra production and production. The Government of Jember should give sanctions fines if found the dump in the River.en_US
