dc.description.abstract | Poverty fishermen from time to time never decreases, it tends to grow.
Based on the various previous studies, the study fishermen often associated
structural poverty. This research attempts to analyze from the point of view of
socio-economic structure of society and its relation to poverty coastal
fishermen. The method used in this research is qualitative, phenomenological
approach. The results of this research are described: (i) the social structure of
the community, an impact on the impoverished fishermen, (ii) the structure and
tools capture technology, more and provide role minm to fishermen and give
peranlebih to the owners of capital, (iii) sharing system , resulting in a
fisherman's bargaining position of low and powerless, (iv) the system of debt,
resulting in fishermen increasingly entangled in debt bondage, and (v) poverty
fisherman, shows a portrait of a chronic poverty and structural poverty.
Furthermore, in general it can be stated that the social structure of coastal
communities positively impact poverty and impoverishment fishermen. | en_US |
