dc.description.abstractThe women in Madura, are place in the special posttion of family life (Pamengkang), household (Koren) and society which has specialities if compared with other tribes in Indonesia generally, and East Java particularly. Based on that reason, a desire comes out to eximine it. This examination is descriptive research that was done at coast area in Bangkalan regency-west Madura, in many areas: Kwanyar, Socah and Sepulu. The samples of this examination are chosen and based on this criterions: the status in the marriage is marrying, the wife of the fisherman employer, having unmarried daughter and minimally having a daughter who has been married but still lives in one house and having social activities. Even thought the collecting data has been done by using many methods: observation, interview, questions and documentation. The used data analysis is qualitative descriptive analysis.en_US
