dc.description.abstract | The focus of this research is to build a center for craftman of Gedhog Woven Batik
Tuban based on creativity in Tuban Regency that has the potential to be developed
into Batik Tourism Village Gedhog. The outcome of this research is a model of
Organizational and Innovation Development for Gedhog Woven Batik craftman in
Tuban Regency. The method used was naturalistic method. Data collection
techniques were in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. Aspects of the
study included 1) product potential of Gedhog Batik, 2) Marketing, 3) Quantity and
quality of craftman , 4) Employment. In developing Gedhog woven batik industry in
Tuban Regency, there are five pillars that must be involved namely: batik artisans,
government, batik entrepreneurs, private parties, SOE and public. The
organizational development in order to develop the capacity of batik craftman needs
the involvement of BLK (Training Center), Department of Economy and Industry,
Private Companies, Plantation Department and PNPM (National Program for
Community Empowerment). Product and motive creativity development can be
undertaken by considering market demand on style without eliminating the
characteristics of local wisdom and performing diversification through the
development of batik industry centers in Tuban Regency. | en_US |
