    GAMBARAN KESEHATAN IBU DAN ANAK DI DESA MUMBULSARI KABUPATEN JEMBER (DESCRIPTIVE OF MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH AT MUMBULSARI VILLAGE, JEMBER REGENCY)

    Abstract
    Background : Mother health and child is one of interest for World Health Organization (WHO). Mortality rate of mother and child is development objective appropriate with Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) 2015. Indonesia is country with higher mortality rate of mother and child than another country at ASEAN region. Objective: This research aims to describe mother health and child condition at Mumbulsari Village, Jember Regency. Methods: This research is a discriptive study with cross sectional approach. The sample of study was 97 respondents. Results: The result shows that from mother health, the reach of folat acid suplement for pregnancy is 87.98% and gift birth 43.98% where about 20%, mother have miscarriage. It is about 72.26%, mother have to be family planning acseptor with details used: pill (50.68%), injection (49.32%), for each spiral or implan and condom is 0%. There is distribution place to get contraception is : midwife (64%), public health center (16%), shop (19%), and apotek (1%). From all respondent shows that 43.30% have baby and child. The weight status for baby and child divide into 4 part: (1) severely underweight (4.80 %), (2) Underweight (11.90%), (3) Normal (78.50%), (4) Overweight risk (4.80%). The weight status for child are severely underweight (29%) and normal (71%). There is 98% baby and child have immunization. The immunization status divide into 80% complete immunization and 20% incomplete. The reach of vitamins A for child by age 6-11 month (82.45%) and 12-60 month (64.98%).
