dc.description.abstractPantura lane in Situbondo is one of the longest on the island of Java (110 kilometers). With a length of the road, traffic accidents occur quite large. Recorded in 2012 occurred 326 traffic accident with the traffic accident victims died as many as 48 people. The purpose of this study is to identify blackspot and road safety inspection at these locations. Results of traffic accident data analysis obtained blackspot in Km Sby 186 – 186,5 dan Km Sby 201 –201,5 (the highest accident rates). Road safety inspection results obtained by the total accumulated value of risk at Km Sby 186 –186,5 of 1.412 point and Km Sby 201 –201,5 of 1.190 point, where the value of the highest risk on aspects of street lighting. Efforts to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents that installation of street lighting along the blackspots to reduce safety deficiencies occur.en_US
