Abstract

The main components of the essential oil is a phenyl ethyl alcohol, citronellol, eugenol, and geraniol. Citronellol compound is a compound shown to have antimicrobial inhibits the growth of those parasitic fungi. This study aims to test the inhibition of essential oils on the growth of the parasitic fungi Candida albicans.
