dc.description.abstract | Furniture industry had potention to appear air contamination. The dust that produce
from furnitures making process caused respiratory disorder to furnitures worker.
This research have a purpose to analyze relationship between dust exposure,
individual characteristic and working climate with lungs function disorder
(restrictive, obstructive, mixed) on informal furnitures worker. This research use
cross sectional, and cluster random sampling on 455 population that spreading in 82
informal furnitures. The research result show that 67 workers had mixed lungs
function disorder. Data on this research will be analyzed using spearman and phi
coefficient test. The analysist ‘s result appear there is significant correlation between
age with restriktif (p = 0,035), age with mixed (0,043), work period with restriktif (p
= 0,039), work period with mixed (p = 0,024), smoking behavior with restriktif (p =
0,001), smooking behavior with mixed (p = 0,029), and dust level (p = 0,00) with
restrictive and mixed lungs disorder. So monitoring is need to increase by
government and the owner to health and safety of workers on informal workers to
prevent disease that appear caused by work. | en_US |
