dc.description.abstract | Vasectomy is a permanent male contraception method done by cutting the vas
deferens. Since IDHS 1987 until IDHS 2012, participants of vasectomy were
recorded less than 1%. Situbondo regency became extraordinary phenomena when
its vasectomy achievement recorded twice in MURI which has the largest participant
in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to describe the vasectomy participation
in Situbondo Regency. This research is quantitative description by applying
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as analysis tool. The subjects of this research
are 17 subdistrict in Situbondo Regency. The results showed that most of the
subdistrict with CPR MOP ≥ 0.61% are within not too dense pesantren area
(62.50%), PLKB ratio of 1:2 (50.00%), sub PPKBD ratio of 1:1 (87.50%), the
percentage of pre welfare family under average (55.56%), the percentage of welfare
family I over average (75.00%), the percentage of welfare family II over average
(62,50%), the percentage of welfare family III over average (50,00%), the percentage
of welfare family III+ over average (37.50%). From the results of these research,
found that the Office of Family Planning Situbondo need to approach back to the
religious leaders, increasing the number of subPPKBD and PLKB, increase the
UPPKS activities, and also encouraged to use GIS as a tool that will make the
process of planning and evaluation easier. | en_US |
