Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar

This study was conducted to determine The Increasing of Student Activity and Outcomes Through the Application of Mind Mapping Learning Mode (Case Study of Economics Subject of Money and Banking Competence in Standard Semester of class X-6 at SMA Negeri 1 Arjasa in Academic Year 2011/2012) ". The Methods to determine where the research was using purposive area. The determination of the subjects of this study was using purposive method, while the determination of the number of respondents was using population method based on the objective circumstances occured, which is the low student activity and learning outcomes. Data collection methods used consist of: observation, interviews, and documentations. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The study consisted of 2 cycles of the first cycle and second cycle. Student learning activities in the first cycle obtained an average score of 69.99% and second cycles obtained an average score of 85.25%. This means that the students' learning activities total average score increased by 15.26%. The learning outcomes Improvements is also better as evidenced by the average value of 73, 68% in the first cycle and achieving 89.47%, which is exelence, in the second cycle. The conclusion in this study is by using the Mind Mapping learning mode can enhance the student activity and learning outcom es of economic subjects in the class X-6 SMA Negeri 1 Arjasa academic year of 2011/2012 on the basic competencies of money and banking.
