dc.description.abstractThis study aims to examine and analyze the effect of circulations service and references service in Central Library of Jember University for the use of a collection of books by students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The research samples are students of Economics Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education class of 2007, 2008 and 2009 with a sample of 74 students selected by Purposive Sampling method, the data used in this research is the primary data obtained directly through a questionnaire with Likert scale. The technics of data analysis used to test the hypotheses was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the regression test showed the magnitude Fhitung = 229.842 = 4.04 and ≥ Ftabel level sign. F = 0.000 <α = 0.05. These results implied that simultaneous variables circulation services (X1) and reference services (X2) have a significant effect to the use of books collection (Y). Partially, the proportion of donations variable service circulation amounted to 52.89% and the variable reference services at 37.72%. It showed that the partial variable of circulation service (X1) has a dominant influence on the use of books in the Central Library of Jember University.en_US
