Preschooler independence can be influedced by peer social interaction. The
purpose of this research was determined the corelation of peer social interaction
and independence level of preschoolers in Kindergarten ABA Tanggul. This
research used cross sectional design. The measurement tool used observation
sheet to measure peer social interaction and independence level of preschooler at
school. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The sample in this
research were 86 childrens. The result show that children has good peer social
interaction 46,5%. Childrens has enough peer social interaction 25,6% and less
peer social interaction 27,9%. Independence level of preschoolers, it was known
that 53,5% children were independent, 25,6% children were less independent and
20,9% children were not independent. Data analysis technique was chi square test
with a significant level of 5%. Statistical test result show the p value = 0,001 (α=
0,05). It means that there is a significantly associated between peer social
interaction with level of preschoolers independence. | en_US |
