FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KETERLAMBATAN DETEKSI DINI PENDERITA KANKER LEHER RAHIM (Studi Pada Penderita Kanker Leher Rahim Rawat Jalan Di RSUD. dr. Soetomo Surabaya)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze factor which influence the late of early detection of cervix cancer patient. This was analystic observation research in case control approach with the comparison by 1:1. The population of this research was cervix cancer patient which inquiry theirselves for first time at Poly Oncology Obstetrics RSUD. dr. Soetomo Surabaya as much 84 patient. Case sample was cervix cancer patient which inquiry theirselves for first time and diagnostic in advance stage, and control sample was cervix cancer patient which inquiry theirselves for first time and diagnostic in early stage, the total sample as much 46 patient. Dependent variable was the late of early detections of cervix cancer patient, and independen variable ware knowledge, healthy feel, afraid feel, medical cost, family support, and access to health service. The sample was taken by using a Systematical Sampling technique. The statistical analysis used a Chi-Square test and then double logistic regression with α= 0,05. The research showed that the factor which influence the late of early detections of cervix cancer patient were healthy feel (p = 0,011, OR = 0,151, and CI 95% = 0,035-0,648), and family support (p = 0,034, OR = 4,588, and CI 95% = 1,126-18,654). Knowledge, afraid feel, medical cost, and access to health service were not the influence factor the late of early detections of cervix cancer patient
