| dc.description.abstract | The method which is used in this research is qualitative method. The way of
taking the sample is purposive sampling to 10 transsexuals in Jember. In collecting
the data, the researcher used in-depth interview which is analyzed by thematic
content analysis. The result is most of despondences that are about 20 years old and
the rest of despondences are about 30 years old have low education level. Most of
them underwent the first sexual activity with the same guy in 9 to 20 years old. They
are about to have men as the steady sexual partner, there are 2 despondences who
have married, one of the despondences have wife and the other has a husband. By
having steady sexual partner, it is not guarantee that behind they have not other
sexual partner. In transsexual world, transsexual people changed their partner all the
time in having sex. They did because sex is biology need and their self-actualization
as a woman. The frequency of having sex with their steady sexual partner is more
than twice in a week, and it also occurs to their unsteady sexual partner for having
sex more than three times in a week. The most favorite sexual technical of
despondences are anal and oral sex. The frequency of despondences condom usage in
the last month with their steady sexual partner is that they never use it. The most of
despondences are become addicted to antibiotic drugs and tetracycline. By
consuming those drugs, they can remove hard fatigue and injury in their anus. These
genital annoyances are undergone by some transsexual people, such as painful when
they have got to rest room to urinate and itchy in their groin area that make it
painful. By changing the sexual partner all the time they feel safe, for it reasons they
have to use condom to their unsteady sexual partner. They also believe that
HIV/AIDS occur to not only to transsexual people, but also to the really street-walker
woman. The awareness despondences level for condom usage and regular checkup
