| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study was to know periodontal treatment needs from patient that come
to RSGM department periodontics faculty of dentistry Jember University. The study
population comprised 530 adolescence (15 – 55 years).A observasional study was
conducted at RSGM faculty of dentistry jember university. There is 6% individuals
were observed with a healthy periodontium, 8% with bleeding on probing (score 1),
moderate pocketing (4 - 5 mm, score 3) was recorded 18%, deep pocketing ( > 6 mm)
and * was recorded 2,3% and 0,7%. The highest periodontal score is score 2 (calculus) with 76 % individuals. CPITN score 2 is the highest score total with 2279 (76%) rather than another. We conclude that periodontal treatment need patients that come to periodontics department is very high especially score 2 ( age 15-25 ) treated with DHE and scalling. | en_US |
