dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compression force on tablet quality in the kembang bulan leaf extract (Tithonia difersifolia) prepared by wet granulation method. Tithonia diversifolia leaf dry extract, formulated into tablets using wet granulation method. PVP K30 as a binder in the form of a solution of 10% w / v etanol 70%, mixed with the powder to form granules. The granules are then evaluated mechanical-physical. Evaluation results granules produce a good quality. The granules are compressed using a tablet machines (Minitab T) with the power of 15 kN, 20 kN, 25 kN and 30 kN. The resulting tablets were evaluated quality. The evaluation results showed that tablet strength greater compression will increase the hardness and disintegration time, and will decrease the fragility, thick tablet. Compression strength does not affect the uniformity of tablet weight and diameter of the tabletsen_US
