HUBUNGAN ANTARA SISTEM PERTOLONGAN PERTAMA PADA KECELAKAAN (P3K) DI TEMPAT KERJA DENGAN PERAN PETUGAS SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE DALAM PENERAPAN PERTOLONGAN PERTAMA PADA KECELAKAAN (P3K) DI PT. PETROKIMIA GRESIK

Abstract

According to statistics from the International Labor Organization (ILO) in 2007 stated that 120 million workplace accidents occur each year in the workplace around the world even every year there are an estimated total of 1.2 million workers die due to accidents and occupational diseases. First Aid in the management of corporate health, especially useful to prevent the incidence rate due to the severity of the accident. The role of the First Aid systems had been listed in government role at number: Per.15/Men/VIII/2008. This study is use observational research with cross sectional design. The research was conducted on August until October, 2012 in PT. Petrokimia at Gresik. The number of sample safety officer representative as many as 51 officers who served in the year 2012 taken as a group (cluster) and 24 plant layout is representative safety officer on duty. Data collection instrument it be use a questionnaire. The data obtained will be analyzed using Spearman correlation test with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that a significant relationship between First Aid systems with a role for Safety officer Representatives in the application of First Aid at PT. Petrokimia Gresik with ρ value = 0.005. Based on these results, it is expected that Representative Safety officer on duty PT. Petrochemicals Gresik in 2012 were more sincere in carrying out their duties and obligations as an officer Safety officer Representative in accordance with the first aid government role at number: Per.15/Men/VIII/2008 to prevent the occurrence of accidents and accident severity rate work.
