dc.description.abstract | The rapid growth of population can lead to various negative impacts. Government’s
efforts to control population is family planning and one of it is tubectomy
contraceptive method. This research objectives are to identify and analyze the
relationship between knowledge, attitudes, role of husband and Family Planning
Officers with tubectomy options. This research is a quantitative research with cross
sectional approach. The population of this study are 88 people consist of couples of
fertile age who use tubectomy and non tubectomy. The resulting data were analyzed
using asimetric lambda association test with a confidence level of 95%. The results
showed that there is a relationship between knowledge with tubectomy options, with
p-value = 0.001. There is a relationship between attitudes with tubectomy options,
with p-value = 0.001. There is a relationship between husband's role with tubectomy
options, with p-value = 0.002 and there is a relationship between the Family
Planning Officers’s role with tubectomy options, with p-value = 0.002. Based on this
research, Family Planning and Women Empowerment Asosiated is expected to
further enhance the socialization of tubectomy method for couples of fertile age both
wife and husband, with the involvement of various parties such as the Unit of
Technical Implementation, Family Planning Officers, and health workers. | en_US |
