Gambaran Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Al-Amien Kabupaten Jember
Abstract
Number are a simple mathematical consept that has a rol with solving problems an can be used as a measuring concept by calculating objects by assigning of number values. The problem lies with educator who teach numbers by working using children’s worksheets. Educators are expected to be abie to introduce the concept of numbers by playing and using media according to age stages. This research aims to determine the ability to recognize number in children aged 5-6 years at Al-Amien Kindergarten, Jember Regency. It has research use quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques use observations and interview guides. Data analysis use frequency statistical formulas. Based on the research conducted on 48 group B children at Al-Amien Kindergarten, Jember Regency. It shows that the children’s ability to recognize numbers is quite capable. This is proven by the recapitulation of scores for indicators that are already optimal, stanting that the numbers 1-10 reach a score of 24% and indicators that are not yet optimal compere less than achieving a score of 6%.
