Pelaksanaan Tugas Hospitality Crew pada Event Pertamina Hulu Energi di Event Organizer Insight Communication Kota Malang
Abstract
Event organizers (EO) are individuals or teams responsible for planning,
organizing, and executing various events ranging from corporate gatherings,
exhibitions, concerts, weddings, to community events. The primary responsibilities
of an EO include event planning, organization, event management, and evaluation.
The stages in event management can be divided into three main parts are pre-event,
main event, and post-event. The Insight Communication event organizer was
appointed by Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java to implement this
event starting from planning, event implementation, to evaluation. The crew in an
event has a very important role in ensuring the success of the event. The tasks of
hospitality crew in an event encompass a range of activities aimed at ensuring the
comfort and satisfaction of guests and attendees. The tasks that are usually
performed by the hospitality crew are Guest Reception and Service, Registration
Management, Facilities and Amenities Provision, Handling Complaints and
Special Requests, Coordination with Other Teams, and Guest Departure
Assistance. The role of hospitality crew is crucial in creating a positive guest
experience and upholding the professional image and hospitality standards of the
event organizers or venue hosting the event. Their responsibilities not only involve
logistical and operational aspects but also focus on maintaining a friendly and
welcoming atmosphere that enhances overall guest satisfaction.
