Indonesia is a country full of biological and non-biological natural resources as well as diverse flora and fauna. Any type of business that is related to environmental activities and is likely to change and damage or pollute the environment must pay attention to the regulations stipulated in the above and related laws and regulations including mining industry activities. There are many complex environmental problems in the mining sector in Indonesia. The emergence of negative impacts that occur in the exploitation of minerals as a result of mining businesses, such as the destruction of forest areas, pollution of sea water, the spread of disease and conflicts that begin to arise in society are all causes of environmental problems that arise in the mining sector.en_US
