    Abstract
This study aims to examine the anatomical characteristics of leaves from several Apocynaceae family plants in Jember Regency. The anatomical characteristics of the leaves identified were stomata, trichomes, epidermis, and laticifer tissue, as well as Ca-oxalate crystal components. This study is a descriptive study with a random sampling method. The stages of the study began with the preparation and sampling of Apocynaceae family leaves in Jember Regency. Next, observations by making replica preparations and temporary preparations, continued with the process of identifying the anatomy of the leaves, where data analysis was in the form of images from microscope observations. The results showed that the Apocynaceae family plants found numbered 13 species, consisting of Adenium obesum, Allamanda cathartica, Alstonia scholaris, Catharantus roseus, Cerbera odollam, Nerium oleander, Plumeria alba, Plumeria obtusa, Plumeria pudica, Plumeria rubra, Tabernaemontana corymbosa, Tabernaemontana divaricata, and Thevetia peruviana. The anatomical characteristics of the leaves that have been identified show that the stomata have anomocytic, anisocytic, and parasitic types; then the identified trichomes are dominated by non-glandular trichome types with simple hair-like needle shapes; the epidermis tissue shows that the cell shape is dominated by polygonal, hexagonal, and pentagonal cell shapes; the Ca-oxalate crystals found vary including single and compound types and are needle-shaped (raphides), sand, prisms, and druss; the laticifers show that the overall structure is not articulated. The results of the identification of the anatomical characteristics of the Apocynaceae family leaves in Jember district were then developed into learning media in the form of a Booklet.
