Kebijakan Program Keluarga Berencana (KB) Pada Masa Pemerintahan Soeharto Periode Repelita I (1969-1974)
Abstract
The Family Planning Program is an integral part of the National Development Program and aims to participate in creating the economic, social, and socio-cultural welfare of the Indonesian population, in order to achieve a good balance with national production capabilities. This study aims to examine 1) the family planning program (KB) policy during the Soeharto administration in the Repelita I period (1967-1974); 2) the impact of the family planning program (KB) policy during the Soeharto administration in the Repelita I period (1967-1974). The research method carried out is a historical research method which is a series of tests that are carried out to be able to test through the results of analysis carried out critically so that it can provide traces or memories from the past to the present. The stages in this research method include (1) heuristic, (2) criticism, (3) interpretation, and (4) historiography.
The results of this study show that the family planning program (KB) policy during the Soeharto administration in the Repelita I period (1967-1974) has been implemented well. And the influence of the implementation of the family planning program (KB) policy during the Soeharto administration in the Repelita I period (1967-1974) increased very rapidly.
