Abstract

Economic botany of medicinal plants is the utilization of medicinal plants for the community so that it can generate opinions and open business opportunities for the community. The utilization of medicinal plants in the Toga King Betiri group refers to making instant herbal medicine. The utilization of medicinal plants has more or less influenced the use of plants as traditional medicine, so it is an important matter in the realm of economic botany so it needs to be studied. This research presents information about the economic botany of medicinal plants, identification of medicinal plants, processing methods as raw materials for making instant herbal medicine in the Toga King Betiri group that can be developed in the community. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with sampling technique using purposive sampling method. Primary data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are to produce a number of plant data used in the Toga King Betiri group as raw material for making instant herbal medicine, namely a total of 55 species and also produce written documentation in the form of nontextbook products as a source of community reading.
