Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Eksodan di Kecamatan Sempu Kabupaten Banyuwangi Tahun 2001-2022

Abstract

This study discusses the socio-economic exodan community in Sempu District in 2001-2022. The main problem of this research is what is the background of the formation of exodan settlements in Sempu District? and what was the socio economic condition of exodans in 2001-2000? These problems are discussed through an in-depth study of the background to the formation of settlements and the socio-economic conditions of the community based on written and oral sources. In this study, most of the sources were oral, archives and reports from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The method used is the historical research method, namely the selection of sources, verification, interpretation, and writing topics. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that the background to theformation of settlements was due to the existence of conflicts that caused waves of internally displaced persons as well as policies from the central government regarding their handling and physiological needs.
