Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbantuan Articulate Storyline dan Plotagon untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Materi Aritmetika Sosial
Abstract
Mathematics in education is considered a scary, boring, and difficult subject to understand. One of the materials that are difficult for students to understand is social arithmetic material. This research was conducted to obtain learning media using Articulate Storyline and Plotagon can improve students' conceptual understanding of social arithmetic. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) with Thiagarajan's 4-D model. There are 4 stages that are passed, namely the defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The subjects of this study were 25 students of seventh grade at MTsN 2 Bondowoso. The analysis in this study is divided into three, namely the analysis of validity, effectiveness, and practicality. The validity analysis was carried out based on the results of validation by 3 validators. Based on the validation results, the total average value was 3.92 and the correlation coefficient α was 0.98. The effectiveness analysis was carried out based on the test results and obtained an N-Gain percentage of 78.26%. Practicality analysis was conducted based on the user response questionnaire and obtained a total average value of 3.66 and a percentage of 91.38%. Based on this analysis, the learning media developed: 1) valid with a very high level of validity, 2) effective in improving students' conceptual understanding of social arithmetic, 3) practical with a good category, and 4) there is an increase in students' conceptual understanding of social arithmetic material. Therefore, the learning media developed is suitable to be used in learning to improve students' conceptual understanding of social arithmetic.
