Keanekaragaman Jenis Diptera di Resort Grajagan Taman Nasional Alas Purwo serta Pemanfaatannya sebagai Buku Ilmiah Populer
Abstract
Diptera is a member of insects that have two wings and are often called true flies. Diversity of diptera there are about 150,000 species with as many as 150 families found throughout the world. Diptera have many roles including as bioindicators, pollinators, pollinators of hybrid seed plants, as well as disease vectors in which case an inventory is needed. Several researchers have conducted research on 9 species of Diptera in the National Park area and found as many as 18 species in the Pancur Resort. Hence the need for further research on the diversity of Diptera species in the Grajagan Resort area of Alas Purwo National Park (TNAP). The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution and abundance of Diptera species in the Grajagan Resort, TNAP. The method in this study used road sampling at 6 locations with different types of vegetation, namely lowland forest vegetation, coastal forest, and transitional savanna forest. This type of research is exploratory research, data collection is done by collecting, identifying, describing, and interpreting. The results of this study found 10 species of Diptera with 6 families, the highest abundance was found in lowland forest with a total of 73 individuals, with a moderate diversity index and ideal abiotic conditions.
