dc.description.abstract | Social-emotional learning is teaching that is focused on developing socially acceptable student behavior, as well as understanding and managing emotions. Social-emotional learning improves social and emotional skills by using explicit instruction and a learner-centered learning approach, helping them actively engage in the learning process, as well as developing analytical, communicative, and collaborative skills. Social-emotional learning goals involve a combination of behavior, cognition, and emotion. Social-emotional learning programs are designed to help students develop positive behaviors and prevent unhealthy ones. The aim of this research is to improve student well-being and student learning outcomes in history learning. The research was conducted in Class XI-I SMA Negeri 2 Tanggul. This research uses a quantitative approach, starting by formulating a hypothesis regarding the relationship that is expected to occur between two or more variables. This research uses experimental research methods, which aim to test the impact of a controllable treatment or intervention on research results, which are also influenced by other factors that may influence them. The results of the research show the impact of using social emotional learning on student well being and the learning outcomes of class XI-I students at SMA Negeri 2 Tanggul. The average increase in pretest and posttest value was 22.3%. Meanwhile, the results of the t test for the learning outcomes test also showed a significant effect with a sig value of 0.01 (0.01<0.05) and for paired different means showed an average increase of 6.4%. The use of the social emotional learning model in class The conclusion is that the social emotional learning model can improve student well being and history learning outcomes for class XI-I students at SMAN 2 Tanggul for the 2023/2024 academic year. | en_US |
