Mitos Kayangan Api di Desa Sendangharjo Kecamatan Ngasem Kabupaten Bojonegoro dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Alternatif Materi Pembelajaran Cerita Rakyat Kelas X
Abstract
Folklore cannot be separated from narratives or oral traditions carried out by people in each
region. The oral tradition in the myth of the Kayangan Api story in Bojonegoro Regency is
classified as partially oral folklore. This research was carried out to disseminate the story of
Kayangan Api and prevent the extincion of the myth of the story of Kayangan Api. The method
used in this research is a type of qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This
research was conducted in Sendangharjo Village, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro Regency. The
data ini this research consists of information in form of descriptions, images, and sound
recordings. Data was obtained through ethnographic interviews with informants. Data
collection was carried out by means of interviews, documentation and transcription. The
problems in this research are divided into four. First, the mythical form of Sendangharjo
Village. Second, the cultural values that exist in the myth of Sendangharjo Village. Third, the
function of myth for local communities. Fourth, the use of myths as an alternative for learning
Indonesian for Class X. The myth at the Kayangan Api site in Sendangharjo Village is the story
of Empu Kriyo Kusumo making Majapahit Kingdom heirlooms in the Kayangan Api site area.
Empu Kriyo Kusumo is believed to have started the first fire at the Kayangan Api site.
