Pengaruh Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education Berbasis Teori Bruner Berbantuan Media Pizza Puzzle terhadap Hasil Belajar Materi Pecahan Peserta Didik Kelas IV SD
Abstract
Mathematics is one of the subjects in elementary school that has an important role in students' lives. However, mathematics is considered a frightening threat for some students, so that reducing students' interest in mathematics subjects. Realizing the importance of mathematics, improving mathematics learning outcomes at every level of education needs serious attention. This research aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the application of the realistic mathematics education (RME) approach based on Bruner's theory assisted by pizza puzzle media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students' fraction material. The research method used in this research is experimental research with a quasi-experimental research pattern and the design used is a non-equivalent control group. The data collection methods used are documentation and tests. Test instrument development includes validity testing and reliability testing. The data analysis methods in this research are normality test, t-test data analysis, and relative effectiveness test. The results of the research show that there is a difference in the influence of applying the Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on Bruner's theory assisted by pizza puzzle media on the learning outcomes of fraction material for fourth grade elementary school students.
