Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) dan Hormon Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Beberapa Varietas Tanaman Okra ( Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench)

Abstract

Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) is a plant that has many benefits and is consumed by many people, while okra production is unable to meet national okra needs. The solution to this problem can be done by planting superior varieties or the appropriate dose of fertilizer so that crop yields are maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer and hormones with different varieties of okra. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors, namely varieties (Naila IPB, F1 Bendi, Zahira IPB) and concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer and hormones (without POC and hormones, 3 ml POC + 1 ml hormones, 6 ml POC + 2 ml of hormones, 12 ml of POC + 4 ml of hormones). The treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 36 trials. The data obtained was analyzed with variance (ANOVA). Treatments that had a significant effect were tested further using the DMRT level of 5%. The results showed that there was a very significant interaction between the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer and hormones with differences in varieties on plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits, fruit weight. The best treatment was found in the Bendi F1 variety and the concentration was 6 ml POC + 2 ml hormone per liter.
