dc.description.abstractThis study examines social deviations in a collection of stories by Puthut EA's Sastrawan Salah Pergaulan and their use as an alternative material for learning literature in high school. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of social deviation in the collection of stories of the Sastrawan Salah Pergaulan by Puthut EA, a reflection of social deviance in a collection of stories by Puthut EA's Sastrawan Salah Pergaulan with social deviance in the real world, and the use of research results as an alternative material for learning literature in high school. With a literary sociology approach, this research presents social deviations committed by the characters, namely drinking (alcohol) and making fun of physical appearance (body shaming). Reflection of social deviations that occur in a collection of stories with real-world social deviations carried out in Yogyakarta. The implications of this research can be used as an alternative material for learning literature for class XI. This lesson invites students to find messages in a collection of stories with basic competency 3.11, namely analyzing messages from fiction books they read.en_US
