Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Pelaksanaan Stem Pokok Bahasan Alat-Alat Optik Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Sekolah Menengah
Abstract
Learning physics is a process of teaching and learning about the exact sciences, namely physics. Learning physics should be able to make students play an active role in the learning process. The learning model for implementing STEM combines four aspects Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The STEM implementation learning model requires students to carry out scientific investigations and pay attention to the application of mathematics when designing technology. The subject matter of optical devices is one of the materials that is considered difficult by students, so that it can be overcome by using the STEM implementation learning model so that students have meaningful learning experiences and can produce products. Based on the results of initial interviews with the physics teacher Elementary School in Bondowoso, it is known that student learning outcomes have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This is because learning more often uses learning methods that are commonly used, namely the lecture method, so that students experience difficulties in understanding physics concepts. The STEM approach, which is an alternative solution, has not yet been implemented at Elemntary School in Bondowoso. Therefore learning physics based on the STEM approach needs to be implemented at Elemntary School in Bondowoso.
