Pengembangan Modul Ajar Interaktif Berbantuan Augmented Reality pada Pembelajaran IPA SMP untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis
Abstract
Science learning is a part of life that is related to the environment and aims to understand and develop knowledge based on basic science concepts. Science learning must be design and implemented to improve students' critical thinking skills. Students need critical thinking skills through in-depth reasoning to obtain appropriate information. One effort to improve students critical thinking skills requires a development product as an interactive learning module with the help of augmented reality media in junior high school science learning. The research aims to assess the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of interactive teaching modules assisted by augmented reality which were developed to improve students critical thinking skills regarding the circulatory system material in class VIII of junior high school. The type of research is Research and Development (RND). The research model is the ADDIE model through 5 stages, including Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research subjects for product trials were class VIII A student at SMPN 2 Maesan. The result this research state that the interactive teaching module assisted by augmented reality to improve the critical thinking skills of class VIII students categorized as very valid with a percentage of 90%, categorized as very practical with a percentage of 93%, categorized as very practical with a percentage of 90%, and categorized as moderate in the effectiveness test. Using an N-gain value of 0.68. Based on this, the augmented reality-assisted interactive teaching module developed is very feasible and practical to use in learning activities.
