Keanekaragaman Gastropoda Air Tawar di Kawasan Geosite Lider Kabupaten Banyuwangi dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Book Chapter
Abstract
Freshwater gastropods are a class of members of the phylum Mollusca. Gastropods usually live attached in the rocks or under the surface of a river. Geosite Lider is a conservation area part of the Ijen Geopark located in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. There is no information about the existence of freshwater fauna, especially Gastropods, so research on the diversity of gastropods is need to be done. Surveyed and sampling in the Geosite Lider area from November 2022 to January 2023. Sampling was carried out using the road sampling method with Gastropods as the main object for measuring the Shannon- Wiener Diversity Index (H’). The results obtained were two families consisting of four species namely Tarebia granifera, Sulcospira testudinaria, Mieniplotia scabra, and Melanoides tuberculata. Tarebia granifera, Mieniplotia scabra, and Melanoides tuberculata belong to the Thiaridae family, while Sulcospira testudinaria belongs to the Pachychilidae family. Based on the Shanon-Wienner diversity index, gastropod diversity in the Lider Geosite area is moderate (H'=1,22). The results of the research are presented in Book Chapter, then the Book Chapter is validated by the validator. Based on the validation results, the average of the three validators was 84,6 with a very decent category.
