ABSTRACT
This study was motivated by the discovery of problems at school related to the use of teaching materials to support the learning process referring to student books and student worksheets that contain general material, questions have not supported critical reasoning skills, and have not contained local wisdom of the local area. The purposes of this study are: (1) to describe the process of developing worksheet theme 8 subtheme 2 based on local wisdom of Banyuwangi agriculture to support the critical reasoning ability of grade V elementary school students; and (2) to determine the results of validity, effectiveness, and practicality of worksheet development. The type of research is development research that focuses on developing a new product in the student worksheets. The development research model used is the Borg and Gall model which consists of 8 stages, namely: (1) preliminary research; (2) product planning and development; (3) initial product design; (4) product design validation; (5) initial product revision; (6) trial use; (7) product development revision; and (8) product effectiveness test. The subjects of this study were 30 students of VA and VB classes of SDN 1 Purwoharjo Banyuwangi Regency. The results of product validity from the assessment of four validators received a score of 90 which was included in the very feasible category. The effectiveness of the product from the calculation of the learning outcomes test using the T-test obtained a percentage of the t-count value greater than the t-table value, namely 13,570 > 1.672. The results of the relative effectiveness test (ER) obtained a score of 41.6% with moderate effectiveness category. The practicality of the product is obtained from the percentage of students' response questionnaire results of 94% and includes in the very practical category.
