dc.description.abstractThis research aims to study the growth of rose plant cuttings on natural ZPT types with different planting media compositions, as well as to overcome problems in increasing rose plant production related to seed availability and unfavorable soil media conditions. The main problem is the low availability of rose seedlings due to failure in growing cuttings. One solution that has been identified is to use the ZPT Rootone - F, but people are reluctant because of its high cost and less friendly environmental impact. This research faces the problem of seedling availability and soil media conditions that are less favorable for rose plant nurseries. However, with the use of natural ZPT and the right composition of planting media, it can increase the growth of rose plant cuttings. The results of this study are expected to provide guidance for farmers or rose plant cultivators in increasing the production and quality of rose plants economically and environmentally friendly, and provide alternative solutions to the problems faced. In this study, treatments were carried out using a Divided Plots Design with two factors, namely the type of ZPT (Rootone - F, coconut water, shallots, and aloe vera) and the composition of planting media (husk charcoal, manure, husk charcoal + manure). The results showed a significant interaction between the type of ZPT and the composition of planting media that affects the growth of rose plant cuttings on all observation variables. The treatments that gave the best results on all variables were A0B2 (ZPT Rootone F with manure) and A2B3 (ZPT shallot with husk charcoal + manure).en_US
