Pengelolaan Objek Wisata Pantai Watu Pecak Kecamatan Pasirian Kabupaten Lumajang dalam Meningkatkan Perekonomian Masyarakat

Abstract

Management is a typical process consisting of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising actions carried out to determine and achieve predetermined targets through the utilization of human resources and onther resources. The management of the Watu Pecak Beach tourism object is still not optimal, this is because there has been no intervention from the private sector so that many faciilities and infrastructure have not been fulfilled and this has an impact on the progress of the tourist attraction with other tourist objects. This research was conducted aiming to describe and get an idea of how the management of Watu Pecak Beach atractions in improving the community’s economy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation and docomentation. Data analysis techniques using the model proposed by Miles and Huberman include data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the management of tourism objects managed by the Village Government together with the Regional Government through the Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office in improving the economy of the people around the Watu Pecak Beach tourist attraction area had been carried out in accordance with existing procedures and regulations, but it was still not optimal. This because there are still several obstacles that hinder the process of managing these tourist objects, one of which is the lack of cooperation with the private sector. The implemention of management in the field has not been in accordance with the plans made and not all of the programs implemented have achieved their goals and there is still a lack of supervision carried out.
