Dysmenorrhea (dysmenorrhea) is the Greek term for "painful monthly menstruation". This is a throbbing painful sensation in the lower abdomen immediately before and during your menstrual period. Usually, the pain is mild. The problem that arises in patients with dysmenorrhea is acute pain due to the body's natural chemicals, namely prostaglandins, which are produced by the lining of the uterus. Prostaglandins cause the muscles and blood vessels of the uterus to contract. On the first day of menstruation, high levels of prostaglanding. As more and more menstrual blood comes out, the levels will go down. This is why pain tends to decrease after the first few days of your period. The purpose of this scientific paper is to describe Nursing Care with Acute Pain Problems in Dysmenorrhea Patients in the Work Area of the Rejoso Health Center. The method used in scientific writing is data collection by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The intervention that was carried out was giving Herbal Turmeric Herbal Drinks. The results of the study showed that giving herbal turmeric tamarind drinks could reduce pain intensity in dysmenorrhea patients in the Rejoso Health Center Work Area. It is suggested that nurses can intervene by administering tamarind and turmeric herbal drinks to patients with acute pain with dysmenorrhea.en_US
