    Abstract
This study aims to determine the level of collaboration and communication skills of students with problem-based learning models. The sample of this research was 77 students who were divided into two classes which were selected by purposive sampling technique. This research uses a type of quantitative descriptive research. Measurement of data using observation sheets were analyzed by calculating the average value of the percentage. Based on the results of research on collaboration and communication skills with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, it shows that overall the students of class XI Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 1 Genteng Banyuwangi already reflect collaboration and communication skills. The percentage of collaboration skills of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Genteng Banyuwangi is 60.5%, which is in the "enough" category. Furthermore, the percentage of communication skills of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Genteng Banyuwangi is 53.2%, which is in the "enough" category. Thus, the average percentage of collaboration skills and communication skills of class XI IPS students in the economic subject of international trade material using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SMA Negeri 1 Genteng Banyuwangi is 57.3%, which is in the "sufficient" category. The recommendations that can be given are that learning activities must be adapted to the characteristics of students so that they can improve students' collaboration and communication skills, especially the ability to contribute actively and responsibly. Teachers can further increase interaction with students to attract their interest in the learning process and teachers can provide rewards in the form of additional value for students who dare to ask questions or answer questions.
