Gambaran Obat Antihipertensi dan Kondisi Tekanan Darah pada Pasien Hipertensi
Abstract
This study presents the characteristics of hypertensive patients and their blood pressure status at RSUD dr. Haryoto Kabupaten Lumajang. The research employed a cross-sectional design with a sample size of 351 respondents. The results revealed that the majority of respondents were aged 56-65 years, female, had completed high school education, unemployed or not yet working, non-smokers, had been diagnosed with hypertension for less than 5 years, received treatment for less than 6 years, and were irregular in attending medical check-ups. The most commonly consumed antihypertensive medication among the patients was calcium channel blockers, and a significant proportion of them were receiving combination therapy. The majority of hypertensive patients had controlled blood pressure. Recommendations include providing family support for hypertensive members, encouraging regular medical check-ups to reduce complications, delivering active education to patients and their families using easily understandable methods and media, coordinating across programs and sectors, and establishing partnerships to enhance prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, particularly hypertension.
