Tanggung Gugat PT Maybank Indonesia Terhadap kerugian Nasabah Dalam Penggunaan Jasa Penyimpanan Dana
Abstract
Winda Lunardi, an e-Sport athlete and her mother, Floleta Lizzy, have a problem  with losing a savings balance of IDR 20,000,000,000 (20 billion) which has been  recorded in two savings accounts at PT Maybank Indonesia, the account contains  IDR 15,000,000,000 (15 billion) Winda's and an account containing Rp  5,000,000,000 (5 billion) belonging to her mother named Floleta Lizzy and both  accounts were exhausted and there were only Rp 600,000 in Winda's account and  Rp 17,000,000 in her mother's account. Winda is suspected of having obtained a  fake checking account and the head of Maybank's Cipulir branch offered the lure  with a certain amount of profit through a 10 percent term savings scheme to open a  futures account and the head of Maybank used Winda's data to misuse the money  from the account. The money obtained by the head of the Maybank Cipulir branch  from Winda is used to be replayed in order to invest in its activities. The purpose of  this paper is to understand and examine the form of PT Maybank Indonesia's  liability for customer losses in the use of fund storage services. The type of research  used by the author is Juridical Normative. Then the method used is the method of  deduction approach. The result of this research is that Maybank is obliged to be  responsible by providing compensation to Winda as a customer who was harmed by  the actions of one of Maybank's bank employees.
