dc.description.abstractSocial dysfunction in men and women due to schizophrenic disorders has an impact on their decreased ability to live independently, isolated, difficult to control emotions and behavior, experience self-stigma, lose their jobs, and loosen social relationships. Social dysfunction has an impact on the social welfare of men and women with schizophrenia due to neglect and dependence on others. This study using gender analysis in examining the process of social functioning of men and women with schizophrenia. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach that interviewed 2 men and 2 women. Based on the results of this study, it is known that gender equality is needed in providing processing opportunities for men and women with schizophrenia to achieve their social functioning again. In terms of the process, it is known that there is no difference between men and women in the process of social JKPS: JurnalKesejahteraan dan Pelayanan Sosial http://ojs.uho.ac.id/index.php/JKPS/index ISSN: 2716-3857 (Online) functioning because both men and women proceed through two factors, namely external factors (family support, professional staff, and community) and external factors (positive thinking, spirituality, selfmotivation) which is a unity that is interrelated with each other.en_US
