| dc.description.abstract | This researchaims to analyze the institutional changes of batik craftsmen
industryrelated to the aspects of the dynamics of industrial relations, and
expansion of market access in the form ofinput and output markets:
analyzing the changes impact in the institutional sustainability of the
batik craft. This researchwas conducted in two sub-districts; Banyuwangi
and Cluring sub-districts.The used research method was qualitative
research. The used data collection methods were field observation,
interviews, and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The research
respondents were determined byusingpurposive and snowball sampling
methods. The results of the research showed that the changes of
economic institutions of Banyuwangi batik craftsmen, industrial
development, and batik trade havea role in expanding the business and
the employment opportunities which help to improve the family welfare
as in the batik craftsmen. The changes of working relations is previously
focused on familial working relations regardless of education level, but
now for the recruitment of new workers, it regards to the education level,
and it is also completed with job description.Moreover, for the previous
accessibility market,the batikcraftsmen offer their own products,but with
the gallery / exhibition building and marketing through online,they
facilitate batik craftsmen market their batik products. The changes
impacts of the institutional business sustainabilityof batik craft industry
areindustrial impacts on the income of batik craftsmen, the social life of
batik craftsmen, the vertical mobility and the welfare of society in
