Abstract
Basic teaching skills are the skills or abilities of a teacher in explaining concepts related to learning materials, where these basic
teaching skills consist of 8 skills. One of the basic skills of teaching to explain is the presentation/giving of information orally organized
in a systematic way to show the existence of a relationship with one another. Submission of information that is well planned and
presented in an appropriate order is the main characteristic of explaining activities. As an early childhood educator, the importance of
basic teaching skills explaining specifically for early childhood is needed in the process of learning activities in order to develop
children's multiple intelligences, which at an early age has a lot of potential that must be developed. Because the basic skills of teaching
explaining this in general still use general references. Therefore, a model for developing basic teaching skills is needed to explain in
developing multiple intelligence. The development model is in the form of syntax and basic teaching skills modules explaining the
development of multiple intelligences. The results of the syntax development of basic teaching skills explain that in developing multiple
intelligence by using a validation sheet, it is categorized as valid based on the results of the validator's assessment, the practical aspect
meets good interpretation and high interpretation, because the teacher's activities are observed through observation sheets then the
aspect of learning effectiveness is implemented 2 times using activity instruments. children have a high interpretation and high
interpretation of the basic skills syntax explaining in developing multiple intelligences and the basic skills module teaching explaining
in developing multiple intelligences.
