dc.description.abstract | The present study aims to identify senior high school students’ perception on the role of collaborative learning in the ELT classroom in Indonesia. A semi-structured interview was employed to gain data from six senior high school students with two students were with the highest scores, two students were with the middle scores, and two students were with the lowest scores in English which were then analysed thematically. Students’ perceptions of collaborative learning include academic benefits, social benefits, general/life-long learning skills, and negative aspects of collaborative learning, while students’ perceptions of role-play are related to students’ perceptions of CL in role-play, the collaborative learning applications in role-play, and students’ impressions. | en_US |
