HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI ANAK GIGI ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DI SDN PANTI 01 KECAMATAN PANTI KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstract
School-age children is a child at the age of 6-12 years, which means that
schools become the core experience of children. Dental and oral health is one
part of the body's health that can not be separated from one another. Problems
that arise in the bad habit of brushing a 6-12 year-old school-aged child can be
caused by a lack of knowledge and attention from their parents. Attention here
can be a motivation that can encourage children to do. Good motivation is the
motivation that comes from within the individual itself. This study aims to
determine the relationship of children's motivation to the behavior of school-age
tooth brushing at SDN Panti 01 Kabupaten Jember. The research design used in
this research is observational analytic using cross sectional approach. The type of
sampling used in this study is probability sampling by using proportionate
stratified random sampling technique with a sample size of 107 children. Data
analysis using chi-square with result p value (0,001) < α (0,05). Based on the
results of statistical tests it can be concluded that there is a relationship between
children's motivation to brushing behavior of school-aged children at SDN Panti
01 District Panti Jember District.
